Susana Cazorla

Director and founding partner of SICEnrgy

Susana is an economist with a Master of Science in Public Financial Policy from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE). She is the director and founding partner of SICEnrgy, an independent consulting firm on regulation and economic competition in the energy sector. Her experience in the energy sector began in 2008 at Mexico’s Ministry of Energy and later she specialized in economic regulation during her time at the Mexican Energy Regulatory Commission, where she held the positions of Head of the LP Gas Unit, Head of the Economic Analysis Unit and Head of Advisors to the Chair. She was elected two consecutive occasions (2015 and 2018) as Vice President of the International Confederation of Energy Regulators (ICER).

She is a member of VozExperta A.C., a regular columnist in specialized magazines, an analyst in print media, radio and television, and speaker in national and international forums related to energy issues.
