Vice president of the Ibero-American Association of Energy Regulators (ARIAE)

Rodrigo Rodríguez J. is a specialist in Regulation of Public Services, PhD in Electric Power from the National University of San Juan, Argentina, and an Electrical Engineer from the Technological University of Panama. He has more than 27 years of experience in the electricity sector, of which 18 have been in regulation of public services in regulatory entities at the national and regional level.

He is the National Director of Electricity, Drinking Water and Sanitary Sewerage in the National Authority of Public Services of Panama and Commissioner for Panama for the Regional Commission of Electrical Interconnection, he was president of that Commission in three different periods. He is also vice president of the Ibero-American Association of Energy Regulators (ARIAE). Rodrigo is a professor in the Master's program in Energy Regulation at the Externado de Colombia University and a Postgraduate Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Technological University of Panama. Author of publications in prestigious international magazines. Founding member of the Ibero-American Association of Energy Law (ASIDE). Certified Mediator and Conciliator.
