Jesús Roberto Tamayo Pacheco

Former Chair of Osinergmin (2012- 2017)

He is a Mechanical Electrical Engineer from the National Engineering University, he has a Master's Degree in Public Services Regulation from La Universidad Católica de Perú, he has a Diploma in Business Administration from ESAN, and a Diploma from the Senior Management program from la Universidad de Piura.

He has knowledge of the economic and social regulation of the electricity, liquid hydrocarbons and natural gas sub-sectors, and road transport infrastructure, railways, ports and airports.

He recently served as director, representing the Subcommittee of Transmitters, of the Economic Operation Committee of the National Interconnected System (COES-SINAC).

He was a member of the Board of Directors of Ositran (Regulatory Body for Investments in Transport Infrastructure of Peru). He also was President of the Board of Directors of Osinergmin from April 2012 to April 2017.

He is a member of the Energy Security Commission of the Lima Departmental Council of the College of Engineers of Peru (CDL - CIP) for the period 2022-2024, a member of the Green Hydrogen Committee of the College of Engineers of Peru (CDL - CIP) for the period 2022-2024, and is also a member of the National Committee of the Pan American Confederation of Mechanical Engineers, Electricians, and Related Branches
