Coordinator of the Regulatory Energy Transition Accelerator (RETA)

Andrew Flagg is the Coordinator of the Regulatory Energy Transition Accelerator (RETA), working as an external consultant to the International Energy Agency, as the host of the RETA Administrator. RETA is a platform for energy regulators to share and co-create knowledge on decarbonisation.

Before starting this role Andrew led the work on the COP26 climate change conference for Great Britain’s energy regulator, Ofgem, which involved developing and launching RETA. Andrew has a background in international climate change politics, previously working as an adviser on climate, environment and public health in the European Parliament.
