Andrés Blancas Martinez
Specialist in economic regulation and regulatory policy in the Regulatory Policy Division of the OECD
Andrés Blancas is a specialist in economic regulation and regulatory policy in the Regulatory Policy Division of the OECD. As part of his work within this organization, Andrés Blancas has coordinated and participated in various specialized projects and reports to imporve the quality of regulation in countries across Latin America and Europe. His academic expertise and professional experience includes areas such as economic competition, digital policy development, pricing strategies, industrial organization, among other fields. Andrés Blancas has worked for international institutions like the World Bank, The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations , as well as various federal government entities in Mexico. Moreover, he has extensively engaged in evaluating some of the primary social public policies in Mexico.
Andrés Blancas holds a degree in Economics from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Master in Competition and Market Regulation from the Barcelona School of Economics, Spain, as well as a Master in Economics with a specialization in markets and organizations from the University of Toulouse, France.
