Ana Isabel Moreno

Head of "Energy Supply 4.0" project in Peru of the German Agency for Development (GIZ)

Dr. Ana Moreno, graduated as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery and Public Health in 2000. She has a Ph.D. in Project Management with a focus on energy. Her first professional experience at GTZ (now GIZ) was in 1998 as a consultant to the management of Peru´s office for the cross-cutting issues of EFQM, e-VAL, and portfolio-level monitoring. Between 2002-2004, Dr. Moreno worked as a consultant for GIZ health project in Puno; later he assumed the direction of the GIZ regional project "Youth Development and Violence Prevention" (2004-2008). Between 2008 and 2009, she was also a consultant for International Services in Peru. From 2008 to 2018 she led the EnDev "Energizing Development" project in Peru and between 2018 and 2020 she led EnDeV Central America. Since 2020, Dr. Moreno has been leading the "Energy Supply 4.0" and "Circular Economy" projects of the GIZ cluster "Sustainable Urban Development". She is also the deputy coordinator of the sustainable cities area.
