Chief Executive Officer of the National Utilities Regulatory Commission (NURC)

Dr. Allison Jean served in the Public Service of Saint Lucia for more than 30 years. Her career started in 1985 and she progressed through the ranks to the position of Permanent Secretary. She last worked in the Departments of Infrastructure, Ports & Energy and Education, Innovation & Gender Affairs. She also held the position of Executive Director of the Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the National Utilities Regulatory Commission (NURC). Dr. Jean is also a Senator in the Upper House of Parliament in Saint Lucia.

Allison pursued her academic journey gaining a Bachelor of Science Degree with honors in Management followed by a Master of Business Administration (Human Resource Management) with distinction from the University of the West indies. She also possesses a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Business Studies from Walden University, International Diploma in Project Management and holds several certificates in Strategic Management, Leadership, and Change Management. She was conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters by the Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Texas.
